Practical information Congress entrance card gives you free entrance to Tivoli GardensYour Congress entrance card allows admittance to the entire Congress. We request that you wear your entrance card during the Congress. The Congress entrance card is also your entrance card to the Tivoli Gardens and can be used all three days.
ATMIn Bella Center's foyer you will find a standard ATM that accepts Dankort and other credit cards as well as an automated currency exchange machine. Internet caféThe internet café, where 21 laptops are installed for free use, is located in Bella Center's foyer. Free internet in the conference facilitiesAll the conference facilities (meeting rooms, auditoriums and rest areas — except Hall A) have wireless network which Congress participants may tap into free of charge. Merchandise Classic porcelain cups, carefully crafted by hand and designed especially for the Congress by Danish designer Anne Black, will be sold at the Congress. Price 100 d.kr. The price of a standard ticket: 2 zone ticket: DKK 22 2 zone voucher/(klippekort 10 klip): DKK 135 Tickets and vouchers for more than 2 zones can also be purchased at the various stations.
Local TransportationThe Metro train from Copenhagen Airport offers you a direct train every 4-6 minutes to the city centre of Copenhagen and Bella Center. Please check www.m.dk for further information.
A taxi from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre is approximately DKK 250 (no extra charges for suitcases). Liability and InsuranceNeither the Organisers (NJF 2010) nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Congress
Participants are recommended to arrange for their personal travel and health insurance. ClimateThe weather in Denmark in June is normally very pleasant, usually sunny. However, on occasion an umbrella may be useful. Daytime average temperature is around 180C, evening temperature around 100C. For more information please visit www.dmi.dk BanksNormal banking hours are from 10:00 to 16:00 hrs. Monday to Friday. On Thursday banking hours are extended to 18:00 hrs. Extended banking facilities are available at Copenhagen Central Railway Station 7 days/week between 07:00 and 21:00 hrs. There are ATMs usually located in connection with a bank branch, which accept a variety of international credit cards. The cards accepted are indicated on the dispenser. ShopsThe shops are open from 09:30/10:00 to 18:00/19:00 hrs. Monday through Thursday and 09:30/10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday/Sunday. TipsTips are always included in the prices given in taxis and restaurants. ElectricityElectricity is supplied at 230 volts A/C, 50 Hz cycle. Letter of InvitationThe congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation letter for visa purposes. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support VisaThe entry formalities for the Kingdom of Denmark vary according to the country of origin. Congress delegates are asked to address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to the travel agent or to the local Royal Danish Embassy / Consulate / Representation in the home country.
